Claudia Zelaya

Mrs. Zelaya is the lower school Spanish teacher and is in her fourth year at NCA. Born and raised in El Salvador, Mrs. Zelaya is passionate about teaching Spanish and enjoys sharing her culture, food, and customs with her students about her country, but also about Latin America. Mrs. Zelaya and her family reside in Waxhaw. She and her husband have three children: two in college and their youngest in high school. In her free time, she enjoys drinking coffee, taking walks, and making crafts. Her happy place is the beach.  Mrs. Zelaya has many years of experience introducing the foundation of the Spanish language to school-aged children.
