Alison Newman

Mrs.Newman is a passionate second-grade teacher at NorthPoint Christian Academy. A graduate of UNC Charlotte, she brings over eight years of experience in education, serving both as a classroom teacher and curriculum writer. Mrs. Newman is deeply committed to fostering meaningful connections with her students, creating a Christ-centered classroom rooted in community, love, and learning.

Her teaching is guided by a strong faith in God, with Psalm 32:8 as a central verse in her classroom: “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” This scripture reflects her heart for mentoring young minds both academically and spiritually.

Outside of school, Alison enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter volunteering at the Charlotte Animal Shelter where they help care for and walk dogs in hopes of finding them forever homes. She values learning from her peers, serving the Lord, and feels truly blessed to be part of the NorthPoint team.
